Chopdisc is played in a fixed odd number of sets: best of 3, 5, 7 sets. Players decide on how many sets before the game starts. As in darts, the goal in one set is to be the first to reach a score of 0. Chopdisc starts at 42 points.

Basic Game

Example of the Chopdisc Basic Game

Red sweet spot = 7 points - - - White target = 5 points - - - Stick = 1 point.

When a player gets to 21 or below at the end of their throw round, they have to throw from 4.5m at Throw Spot 2.

Basic Game objective

For the Basic Game the goal is to get from 42 to: ‘0 or below’. In a single set each player takes turns to throw three fisbees and score as many points as possible. On the Stick Target different points are awarded for each target, as shown in the description below the photograph of the Basic Game.

Advanced Game

Example of the Chopdisc Advanced Game

Red sweet spot = 7 points - - - White target = 5 points - - - Black target = 3 points - - - Stick = 1 point.

When a player gets to 21 or below at the end of their throw round, they have to throw from 4.5m at Throw Spot 2.

Advanced Game objective

In the Advanced Game the goals is to get from 42 to: ‘exactly 0’. Getting below 0 means the player is busted, this counts as a ‘no points throw’. In a single set each player takes turns to throw three fisbees and score as many points as possible. On the Stick Target different points are awarded for each target, as shown in the description below the photograph of the Advanced Game.

Advanced Game - Calling the Stick Targets

In the Advanced Game each player it is mandatory to call the Stick Target that a player wants to hit. The Middle Stick Target is the default call. Only if you want to hit either the Left or Right Stick Target, the player calls that target. If a player hits any Stick Target other then the called Stick Target, it is a no points throw. Even if the player also hits the called Stick Target it is a no points throw. Place an X on the scorecard for a no points throw.
